Texas Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals - Sessions

We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker for the 2018 Summer Institute: Kyle Clark.

Kyle Clark has worked in higher education for almost 20 years, primarily at the University of Texas at Austin in residence life, new student orientation, and student success initiatives.  Kyle recently took a position at St. Edward's University in Austin, as the Director of Student Transition and Family Engagement.  In his new role, Kyle will lead new student orientation, extended orientation, parent and family orientation, living learning communities in the residence halls, as well as transition programs for students throughout the academic year.

Kyle received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in '04.

Kyle loves working with college students and enjoys challenging them to think critically about important issues and focusing on sharing their story.  Kyle has served as an advisor and mentor to thousands of students and has traveled nationally as an accomplished speaker, facilitator and social justice advocate.  One of the most important ways Kyle wants his audiences to approach life is to understand that each of us are “built for greatness!”
